Ha, Success!

Yesterday, an old coworker came to visit with her daughter and granddaughter. I met the daughter, but failed to say hello to the granddaughter. It felt like something from a story: Grownups often did not see her because she was very small. I was the only one who didn't seem to see her, though. Everyone else said hi to her, but she would retreat behind her mother's knee. Further into their visit, however, I turned around in my chair to see her through the glass in someone's office while the grownups chatted. She saw me and I waved. Her whole face just lit up and she enthusiastically waved back. I felt like a champion, and that carried me through the whole day.
